The Partnership is one of 35 Neighbourhood Management Pathfinders (NMPs), which receive Government funding to improve deprived neighbourhoods for local people. Following a competitive tendering process, Barbryn was appointed to produce a regular community magazine to show residents how the Partnership is making their community better.

Barbryn designed ‘Heartbeat’, an A4 glossy magazine which really stands out from the other free publications residents also receive through their letterboxes. We provide a complete turnkey service, designing and artworking the magazine, interviewing local residents, Partnership staff and local partner organisations, copywriting the complete publication, taking the photographs and managing the printing.

The magazine has a clear, easy-to-read format and is full of information for local residents. It contains a main local feature each issue eg community safety, plus news pages, a Neighbourhood Wardens round up, Partnership pages and useful contact details.

:achievements
‘Heartbeat’ is distributed free to all residents in the Heart of Burton. The number of residents now getting involved in the Partnership’s projects and activities shows how aware they are of the work the Partnership is doing.
